Theological Forum -
Gospel Partners

Few leaders would be so foolish and presumptuous as to say they don’t need anyone to accomplish the Kingdom mission to which God has called them. And yet, many of us behave as if we can do it all on our own.

Paul gives us a powerful picture of what he calls “partners in the gospel” in the intro to his letter to the Philippians. We will walk through Philippians 1:3-11 together and examine what it looks like to be gospel partners in God’s Kingdom today.

Deborah Jackson

I spent twenty years working as a registered nurse. During that time, I worked in almost every available position for an R.N. Many times I was the last caregiver a person saw before passing away or I was an attending nurse for a person who found themselves in critical condition. It was during those most precious moments of life, I was given an opportunity to share the love of Christ. Today I am no longer working as a registered nurse but I’m still sharing the love of Christ. I simply moved from one dynamic of ministry to another. My position has changed but the message has remained the same. Jesus saves!

Title: Called to Shine!

In the midst of busyness, distractions, parenting, pandemics, and even church ministry, we can lose our passion for Jesus, and flounder in our calling. God has called each of us to shine His light, but what does that look like? Although women in ministry may need to wear many hats, how can we include activities that enable us to really shine? In this session, we’ll recognize the distractors that dim our light, and identify activities or ministries that spiritually energize and empower us.

Presented by: Dean Plumlee

Title: Part 1 – What You Measure You Produce

We will take time looking at Jesus as our model for measurement and production in ministry. How He made disciples and how we can too.

Title: Preparation For Purpose

You will never walk into purpose without preparation. Preparation is the process that will bring you into purpose. If you try to walk into purpose without preparation you will abort the process. Everything that we have gone through or will go through God will utilize to get us to His prepared place.
