As you have read in the 2019 report, the need for new churches is overwhelming. So, first of all, thank you for taking up the call and starting a new work to reach the lost. We are gearing up for another strong wave of church planting. No single church or planter can accomplish this task on their own. It takes like-minded planters, pastors, and churches bound together and working towards the same goal.
As we gear up to reach our goal of 400 healthy churches by 2028, we are asking all of our churches to prayerfully consider how they will financially be a part of this movement. If you have planted a church with Converge MidAmerica, you have been a recipient of the generosity of the churches and plants before you. Our Pay it Forward Fund was a revolving fund that would be distributed to new church plants with the expectation that once launched, those plants would tithe 10% back into the fund until it was replenished. If you’ve been faithful to replenishing those funds for future planters, we are so appreciative of your faithfulness. If you haven’t, we ask that you arrange your church budget to honor your commitment to Paying it Forward. Below is a worksheet that is helping us to steward this next surge of church plants.
